Aston Villa v Liverpool, Barclays Premier League,
Villa Park, May 22nd 2011, 16:00pm

Liverpool FC - Team, Strategy & Injury News:
Carroll is back in training after a knee problem however the strikers still rated as doubtful but could make the bench. Meireles is also doubtful with a minor hamstring problem but is expected to be fit. Agger, Aurelio, Kelly and Stevie are all out.
  Player to Watch: Maxi Rodriguez
With two hat-tricks in his last three games the Argentinian has to be one to watch and will get his place regardless off Carroll being fit, don't rule out more goals from Maxi.
Birmingham City - Team, Strategy & Injury News:
Palacios is doubtful for Tottenham and expected to miss out. If the Honduran is ruled out he'll join Assou-Ekotto, Gallas, Bale, Huddlestone, Gomes, Hutton, Jenas, Khumalo and Woodgate on the sidelines.
Player to Watch: Rafael Van Der Vaart
Rafael Van Der Vaart has proven this season (as he has in the past) that he can raise his game in the big matches, and this (even if it's not for the biggest prize, Champions League football) is still a big match.
  Match Facts & Stats:
In the previous 152 matches between Liverpool and Spurs, the reds have come away with 70 victoires to Spurs 44 with 38 ending up as drawn games. Out of the current Premiership sides Liverpool have taken more points from Tottenham at home than any other team.
  Referee Watch: Howard Webb
Howard Webb. Man Utd' Webb has officiated on the reds four time this season already and has booked five players in the process, N'Gog, Maxi, Meireles, Torres and Robinson in the last game he controlled.
  Match Prediction: 2-0
Tottenham have had the wind knocked out of there sails just recently and have fallen behind Liverpool by two points after holding a substantial lead off us a few months back. Liverpool to run out 2-0 winners Maxi and Suarez on the score sheet.
