The Marina Dalglish Appeal

Marina was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2003. Kenny and Marina were so grateful for all the staffs help, concern and understanding that they vowed that when Marina was up and running again they would try and repay a little of what they had done for them.

In June 2007 the Marina Dalglish Appeal reached its original target of £1.5 million and the centre for Oncology at University Hospital Aintree was opened. The unit provides the ideal environment for patients to receive chemotherapy to treat all forms of cancer.

The Marina Dalglish Appeal has a target of £5 million to help build a much needed Radiotherapy Centre in University Hospital Aintree.
